Biography
Samantha is an associate attorney with the Finney Law Firm, concentrating in Labor and Employment Law.
Sam graduated from Northern Kentucky University summa cum laude in 2020, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Organizational Leadership. Upon completion of her degree, Sam was the recipient of the NKU Public Relations Student Recognition Award.
Sam earned her JD summa cum laude in 2023 from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. While in law school, Sam was an active member of the Legal Association of Women, the Public Advocacy Coalition, the Small Business Clinic, and the Chase Mentoring Program. In addition to working as a law clerk, Sam served as a Teaching Assistant and a Faculty Research Assistant where she assisted in the publication of the article Is a Green Tie Enough?-Truth and Lies in the Courtroom. The article was published in Volume 75 of the Oklahoma Law Review and discusses the significant constitutional questions that are raised when purposeful racial discrimination motivates the exercise of a peremptory strike in jury selection.
Sam focuses her practice on assisting both employees and employers in workplace and employment-related matters. She represents clients in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and related employment law disputes.
Outside of the office, Sam enjoys spending time with her family, boating and camping. She is an avid music fan and enjoys attending concerts, the theater, and the orchestra. Sam lives in Northern Kentucky with her husband.
